I've decided that we will celebrate my kids' birthdays on the day I get their cakes done, which hasn't ever coincided with the babies actual birthday. This year I was one week and two days late. Not bad. Luckily for my kids, we had family visiting on their birthday and Aunt Jeck stayed up all night making them a banner and wrapping presents, so they had two celebrations. They don't seem to mind and have never questioned me about it.
Actual birthday: Here they are trying to put up 2 fingers.
Birthday night: Mia, excited about not having to sit in a high chair because she thinks she turned 4 instead of 2.

I love the cakes. I just wish we had been there to see you make them. I'm going to try the fondant thing but I have no idea what I'm doing. Wish we lived closer....Thanks for putting up with us invading your house. It was so much fun to see you guys and get to know your kids better.

I can't believe your babies are 2. And you make the best cakes ever! I like your idea to celebrate their bdays when the cakes are ready! haha I never thought of that - sure would've helped the stress level :) Keep up the good work!
